Why Venus is a queer quartet based in Montreal and founded in 2019 with an ascending new wave rock sound. An exploded slush of shoegaze guitar, supported by a groovy bass and a punchy drum, all impregnated with the dancing sound of a synth. The whole is guided by the velvet of a deep voice and its delectable harmony. It's space, it's hot, it's crazy!

They draw their inspiration from a vast register, going from Californian rock of the 90s to jazz sounds of the 70s. Their sound is distinguished by their explosive rhythms, their impeccable groove and their catchy melodies.

The Sassy Islanders, is a Montreal based band who came to being during the decay and uncertainty of 2020. Their sole purpose was to find meaning in everything that was happening in the world around them. They are inspired by 90s Californian music,70s rock and Jazz melodies, enabling them to amalgamate all of these styles to create good vibes and trippy music.
